I nearly fell off my chair! Nice one Stu.

Martin, Anto and I saw old Bugle being towed up the itchen by Andy S the other weekend...Hope it was not a serious problem.

Wait till he is on line and explains last nights saga. Shame there wasn't a video camera available. But it involved a boat delivery job from Gosport to the West country. A trailer with one wheel and a towing hitch twisted though 90 degrees, despite the next door neibour saying he had maintained the trailer perfectly, yer right nobber. 2 Hours of hard graft to get the boat off the knackered trailer onto a flat bed and no sign of a cup of tea. A charge of fly tipping. The female owner taking photos as evidence (ungrateful cow) and a midnight dash to get away before the police arrive.

Finally some highly suspicous activity in Gaffers car park involving switching a boat from one car to a large truck. Whoever the young bloke in the car parked in Gaffers was, sorry if the headlights disturbed you and your girlfriend, but she wasn't that good looking.

Anyway throughout the adventure though Stu kept perfectly calm and acted with astonishing diplomacy and control much to his credit.

Pete

Poor Stuart - he often seems to get the jobs that no one else wishes to do.

finishing the job...

He does always finish the jobs though.. unlike many other people.... Not to mention he'd help anyone anytime.. How many of you would drop everything to go help a friend in need.. Stu did...
