Ron Hale Marine

Deserve a mention for general excellence. I've just had them deliver a SIB to me in Northern Ireland.

Good website, good deal, good communications, good bloke, good postage charges and speedy dispatch.

Blimey, Ron Hale to me are the expensive little local outboard shop in Southsea that I gave up on a few years ago as they never usually had what I wanted, and when they did it was very expensive.

Perhaps I'll have to give them a try again and have a look at their website.

Feck off! There's enough whingin' and general misery on here about crap service. I thought it would be good to counterpoint the Dan Cooper thread with some better news.

FWIW, I have many product/service suppliers at work, and I'm not slow about telling them who's naughty or nice. I think that it's very important to mention the nice ones - we tend not to notice them 'cos they're so painless.

Anyone else had good/very good/excellent experiences with ribby suppliers?

'I paid money and I received a bit of an outboard' would be refreshing.

Sorry to get yer hopes up mate - they're still not actually GIVING stuff away

In my case, they had it in stock, it was 20% below RRP and the postage was a bargain. Maybe I got lucky. Sometimes I do...

yeah, bad example - you know what I mean though

Cleaning pads at Ribshop perhaps?

Speaking of Ribshop, there's another top bloke, that Kieron. His online checkout wanted £15 to post a 300g envelope to NI. A quick PM and he sorted the madness out forthwith...
