Robust A frame builders

Recommendation required please!

I am looking to get a stainless steel A frame built for my Ring 6.5 to allow wakebaording from amongst other things. I would be grateful for any advice or experience people have had in getting after-manufacturer frames built?

I have read various postings on fixings - all good stuff.

Who in the Portsmouth area would be good to conatct re: designing building and fitting?

Advice on style, height, materials etc?

thanks

a FRAMES

Try Carisbrooke at Fareham or Pacer at Farnham
Carisbrooke made mine and it is OK but they did not do as I asked and to date have not bothered to reply to my comments, Pacer have them ready made in stock.

Have a word with Ben Davies at Ocean Quay Ribs in Southampton - we have just had a combined A Frame and rear bench seat made to fit our boat all in stainless steel and it looks fab. They did a really good job although due to lots of measuring and because they made it from scratch it wasn't that quick - well worth the wait though!

2" tube

I have an a A-Frame on my 6.5 Excalibur made from 2" 316L Stainless. I got it powder doated black and it has got more compliments than any other part of the boat. The extra diameter makes it really stiff for wakeboarding or skiing.
