I think one of the guys in the office sent a Revenger 34 out to Oslo to be fitted out and on to the US forces for the same thing!

The thought of them shooting at a remote controlled revenger 34 is enough to bring tears to my eyes!

Easy enough to do these days - Just fit an auto pilot and let the chartplotter do the rest!!!

I think the thread title is slightly wrong.

A "robot" controlled rib would infer some sort of intelligence - ie to alter course if sensors indicated something was in the way or to identify a target and plot and steer the most appropriate cause.

I think this is a "remotely" operated rib - ie a human controller is making the decisions and driving it wirelessly. ie a big boys one of these http://www.toymonkey.com/bigpic.asp?...URL=rcRNLI.asp

Quite right - a major difference.

Even so things like this are so much easier now - you could build your own Tomahawk for about £10k!!!
