I think the Whitby boat had an engine blow last week on a shout and had to be towed back in itself. That could be it.

Is that the old Moelfre lifeboat Mersey class "Robert and Violet". being taken north to her new home?

The new new Taymar class "Kiwi" is now on duty in the moelfre area. There have been planning problems with the new rnli boat house and so the new life boat has been on a swinging mooring at Molfre in good weather but has also spent some time in Anglesey local harbors during bad weather.

Whitbys Trent class is up in Amble at the moment with engine problems .

Met Nigel the 2nd coxswain in Chester the other day. The moelfre boat is too big for the boat house and is to be on a swing mooring and they have to get out on a dinghy!!! He wasn't happy.

Full planning approval has now been given for the new boathouse after resubmission. It's a cool boat! Kiwi
