Really enjoyed Saturdays cruz - great to meet so many Ribsters and to put faces to names.

Thanks to everyone who helped recover Topaz.

I got VERY VERY wet during recovery, so much so that I am going to invest in a drysuit. Does anyone have any recomendations/advice or know of a second hand one for sale?

Dry suit for the bosssss

Hi Sian,

There is an earlier thread in this forum on dry suits for women, maybe worth a look (especially the post written be me of course )

The democracy you set up is clearly not working...otherwise you would be dry and Graeme wet...

Graeme: Thanks for the great offer! Will grab it with both hands for sure!
Does it look like I need a translator??? Is my English that bad?!

Eddy

Your English is a damn sight better than my Dutch that's for sure!

Not sure about inciting the crew to mutiny though ..... A Captain's place is onboard to the end .... even on a RIB

Look forward to meeting you sometime later in the year

Graeme

Eddy,

Graeme is insured for lots more money then me, so it makes better economic sense if he goes down with the boat !!!!!!
That way I could afford to replace her if the worse comes to the worse............

Thanks for the info about the drysuit thread - I will read and learn.

Sian

The REAL problem is going to come the week after Easter.

Sian is doing the RYA Powerboat 2 Course - so then will come the problems - much the same as Keith Hart has said in another thread - when she thinks she is as comptent as I am - and she will want to be in charge.

What price democracy then ...........

Sorry Sian........

Graeme,

Why not stay one step ahead of democracy and go for your Advanced ticket - rough weather handling , night running , serious nav , etc. Great fun and very usefull.
