RIBs spotted

Friday am, about 8:30 i was traveling west on the M4 and i spotted a large RIB heading the other way. 2 minutes latter another, followed shorty by a third. All were different - just wondered why three RIBs were travelling towards London?

Any owners or do you think they are setting up for the boat show already?

It's that time of year when there's usually a 60second TV news report of the Sunseeker or Princess convoy winding it's way through the narrow streets to Earls Court, and the dismantling of street furniture to allow them around the corners. I reckon you're right about setting up now as the Earls Court on-line calendar is blank until the boat show. (Just wait - someone will own up now I've said that!)

The list of new boats at the show in MBY has an ALUSTAR 80 RIB!

Does anyone know of this make? and what is the 80 ??

We usually get a fleet of RIBS on the M4 going WEST on Bank Hols etc, then they end up in the county full of people with tanks on their backs and funny looking belts!! We dont have a show here....pity.
Looking foraward to the LBS to see the new toys.
Oh yes, and the Guiness Bar.
