Thanks for the replies, interesting stuff, I just want to make sure that I learn from others and try and get the best bits I prefer on a RIB. As I said earlier, I looked at some last Saturday at Universal marina, they were between 250 and 350 some even more, all bespoke built but a bit ponsey for me, I would not want to go above 200, but I'm sure for that I should get a reasonable RIB with bits that I want on it Oh and capable of a Channel Islands trip or ten

All rib's are effectivly tri hull, solid main centre hull and two smaller inflatable outer hulls / stabilizers, that's why they handle so well with no rolling, thats my hopinion.

Are Osprey the ones they use for Special needs people then, high sides and all that? Saw a Cat in Port Solent at the weekend (a bit like a Husycat possibly but never seen one) adapted for the disabled, great to see people can still get out and about
