More of Scotland

I can strongly recommend the campsite @ Respole on Loch Sunnart - See image. With its own slipway, you are straight out to the sound of mull and out laying islands. Its also only another short tow round to Ardtoe, another excellent slipway - paking for car and trailer - 1/4 mile away, but this is only a shortish hop to Arisaig, where seal was photo'd and the sands of morar to the north.......If only we'd had more time......more coffers for the fuel bill.......and the weather had held......

good to see the manufacturer played the game correctly.although you do wonder if you had'nt been talking on this forum would the response have been as good.

As a beside what are the pod like items on your A Frame? are they nav lights?
If so what do you think of them...they look good.

Light pods on the A frame

The black pods on the A frame are for the lights. The nav lights are on the sides and in the front are forward facing docking lights that light up the entire deck area when you need it. When I bought the boat from Ribquest, the 'deluxe A frame' was thrown in for now't to secure the deal - with these light pods on. They do look good, they have the appearance of the black carbon fibre look, but are plastic. very functional.

i'll take a couple of close ups. i took advantage of the excellent weather and flat sea's last night to go out fishing off flamborough head. Its the first time I've been out alone fishing where night falls during the trip, and the docking lights were invaluable when baiting up, dealing with the fish etc.

have a butchers at this one.......I'll get a close up for you......
