This is "Old Womans Bay" along Superior's N. shore. So named because apparently you can see the face of an old woman in the cliff face. She actually starts to look pretty good after a few Molsons (though I prefer Guiness).

A little closer to home, this was taken of a military jet in training along the edge of Winnipeg (nothing to do with water, but is typical of our sunsets here).

I have brought this thread back to life cos I see that we have a new member JARNUT from Poland.

Jarnut welcome to the forum. (witaj) Hope you find it of interest .

I see from your profile you have a Zodiac 9 mtr .How about a photo of your rib and of course tell us something of your ribbing activities.

Brian,

I was hoping Arek would explain this himself but unfortunately the project has been cancelled. This was due to a number of circustances . Originally they wanted to go in a Parker 630D rib (just like my Seahawk)then this was changed to a Parker 900 Baltic with the Mercruiser D4.2L 300 .

Due to favourable weather conditions the adventure was planned for February/March 2004 - The final decision to go was left too late and this was just beyond Arek's control

I am sure Arek will tell us more

That's right RIBnet is international. I think a lot of people read it.They discuss about forums in my harbour. All the best for 2004 Ryszard

What comes to boating I think there are better locations than Finland at the moment!

Waiting new boat and better weather.

Czesc Ryszard

I have not seen you on the forum for a long time
What have you been up to?
How is the winter in Kolobrzeg?

Interesting what is discussed about the forum in the Port of Kolobrzeg?
