London Excel

Excel last year was good - reasonable number of Ribs & inflatables + manufacturers like Garmin, Honda + loads of Chandlers.
I'm going on Thurs 11th Jan - £6 after 4pm, open till 9pm.

OK, so may interests may vary from some, but for any of the commercial guys on here the best show by far is Seawork ( They have a specific rib section (amongst others) and if you're after bombproof kit, well worth a visit.

Missed Ribex last year, but heading to LIBS this weekend.

SB&R was OK for some of the on-water entertainment for the youngsters. Didn't seem to be the footfall there could have been. No idea how well the trade stands did but it didn't look too exciting for them (Sunday pm). I got the impression that many people were there just to have a mooch around rather than buying a boat or bits for one.

RibEx somehow felt better overall and if I were looking at the two events for a stand would probably go for that (depending on relative costs). Felt like there were more boats on display at RibEx? Maybe just more interesting ones.
