I'm different to you, when I buy toys, I'm not in the habit of phoning manufacturers to make appointments. If I see it and like it, I buy it. It's probably why I have lots of toys.
and that is the market which Ribeye seem to appeal to and be very good at it. There are people here who would suggest if you had taken your time, and made a more considered decision you might have got a better boat for the same money. But even with disinterested salesmen I'm sure they would have become a bit more attentive if you had said "I like your boat, I'd like to buy it".

Right show wrong location I feel getting, less and less on show each year and expensive to come over on the ferries.Portsmouth -Southampton or Hamble would be better.

What, the non-appointment I'd like to sell you a boat market?

I'm not sure anyone here knows what I paid for my boat.

Everyone's entitled to their opinion.... I think it's a good location (but concede it's not exactly straightforward getting there), and agree with you that later in the year (more into the summer) would be better.

Who organises Ribex? I've just had a look around their website and it still says "Land Site plan not yet available due to many late entries request". Very shabby.

The organiser is Hugo Montgomery-Swan who is the owner/publisher of RIB INTERNATIONAL mag (I hope I have not insulted him with the title). I have found him very approachable and guess he would like to hear from people with views either way.

Is it big enough?

You won't be able to run your shuttle service then.....unless it's from Gosport?
