Cool - What console / seating did you go for?

Not sure if you've got an anchor etc but the fortress apparently fits in the anchor locker. I'm going to measure mine when I get it tho before ordering :-)

Assuming you went for the Rapide R2B55H trailer?, I calc the weights as:

Trailer - 400Kg (info from http://www.dixonbate.co.uk/html/r2b55h.html)
Boat (bare boat) - 390Kg (Does this include 90L tank?)
DF115 - 194KG (XL)

=> depending on fuel and other loading, you could be within the 1100KG limit of the van.

(R2B55 trailer is 100KG lighter than H variant)

went for the standard consul with single jockey + 2 x 2 person jockeys. I a perfect world would of liked cruiser with 2 singles + 2 x 2 person jockeys but concidering i started off looking for a second hand 4.8 ribcraft i think ive done well

I think that's a good arrangement.... The std console has lots of room for mounting instruments etc. I also liked the fact that you are driving from the centre of the boat (especially if you're out on your own). On the 5.85, this arrangement should give you loads of room in the stern. PM me some pics when the new toy arrives!

Today upgraded the engine to a suzi 140 + a frame to skiframe with led nav lights
