Ribcraft or Ribeye

Been mainly looking out for a Ribcraft 585 but a number of people have suggested a Ribeye A600.
the rib will mainly be used in and around Plymouth and the South Coast. I've heard the Ribcraft is a good seaboat in the chop but what's the Ribeye like?

Of the 2, Ribcraft would be better suited to your area.

You could of course, consider other options......

Check out the Osprey Vipermax 5.8m. Harder to find, but a superb hull.

I have an opinion, but might be a tad biased

Arrange a test drive on each before making any decision

+ 1 a test drive will definitely help

One med type hull, one deep vee uk type hull

I think you will see a huge difference in ride quality, a test drive should do the trick

Try both, wait while ribcraft decide if your money is good enough, at the same time be impressed with ribeye treating you like a proper customer......get the ribeye and happy days!

Just the impression I get of both from talking to people with 1st hand dealings.....

If buying used try both and see what you like, then buy that one :-)

I agree, I got first class treatment from Rib Eye and they opened up on a sat for us as we had traveled down from merseyside, was also offered a test run in two different boats.

Are people really swayed into buying a boat, based on the actions of the sales personnel?
