Ribcraft demo weekend at Portland

Saturday 8th & Sunday 9th October 2010 -

Unfortunately I am teaching a powerboat course at Wimbleball that weekend - I went a couple of years ago, Portland harbour in an Easterly force 5-6, very interesting conditions, very short steep waves

Ribcraft Demo Weekend
Ribcraft are to stage a demonstration weekend at Portland, Dorset. The weekend will be an excellent opportunity to properly test drive our boats in open water conditions and away from the speed restrictions of the boat show. Don't worry if you are new to Rib's or boating, RYA Powerboat instructors will be on hand to offer any guidance and assistance.
To guarantee a demonstration and help me manage the weekend, please fill out and return the form, you can also call or e-mail me at the factory. I will contact all applicants the week prior to the event to reconfirm and allocate you a rough time slot, Hope to see you there.

Ribcraft demo weekend at Portland

Anyone spot the wrong dates on the right weekend (2nd weekend of October) - it's the 9th and 10th of October.

sorry for the error - enjoy the event.

I went last year and can definately recomend this to ANYBODY thinking about changing their boat. The Ribcraft guys are VERY helpfull, will give you as much time as you want, very knowledgable, answer all your questions and are not remotely pushy in trying to sell you a boat. I was very impressed last year. Do any other manufactures offer such an event where you can drive their boats ? all shapes, sizes and configuations in one place ? I've never heard of a simular event ?

And of course most good manufacturers will try to arrange a sea trial for any credible buyer.
