Hi Maximus,

Sadly I'm not going, but I went last year. The Ribcraft guys are excellent, have a good drive of any boat you want, put it properly through it's paces and no hard sell presures at all. I was really impressed with the Ribcraft team, AND their products.
Have a great time!

I think these open day gigs are great. If I was over there, I'd be at that one. As it is, I'll have to be content with burning some Redbay diesel on the 23/24th.

No, I was just expressing a bit of ribbing solidarity. Speaking of which, are you thinking about a change or are you just looking for a quick ride?

No, how could I ever change, I'd have to delete all my old posts

I am heading down to keep Maximus out of trouble and also to try out those new bouncy seats.

The 6.8 is a great boat. Here's mine being born and in Guernsey on the way home after coming across the Channel.

It depends on the prop. The boat will cruise at 38kts all day and will reach 45kts WOT, maybe a little faster. Fuel consumption is between 1.3 and 1.6 litres per mile, again depending on the prop. The ETec has proved very reliable in the two years I've had it.

I'll be trying the whole range

A pint will almost definately be possible. I grew up on Portland Road so I know a few of the local pubs. Probably all changed since I lived there though.
