don't forget a lanyard

Dont forget to thread a small lanyard through the hollow hinge part as an insurance policy..
I am sure it wont go anywhere but better be safe than sorry
With the weight of the clamp no floaty back thing will keep that bad boy buoyant !
Have a great and safe trip,If you get chance pop to see Alan Woodnut at the main electrical hardware store on the island he has a 585 and he brings it across for service every year 135 mile on water round trip for a engine service !

Cheers

Tried the lanyard ... problem we found was that if the lanyard in any way flaps around it can - and will - hit the camera case and gets picked up loudly on the microphone. Make sure it's very tightly wound so it can't move.

With a standard set-up of adhesive mount we've now abandoned the lanyard - those adhesive mounts are sh!t to a blanket on a properly prepped surface

I got the size of my aframe wrong so I gave it to AJ as he has the 2" tube. Looked a really nice bit of kit.

We should have 3 rather nice 585's out in the Solent this Saturday if you are up this way
