Ribcraft 5.85

New to the Forum’s so hello to everyone.

I really need some advice, I am thinking about buying a Ribcraft 5.85 and would like to try one on the water and speak to someone who owns one.

I would be very grateful if anyone who owned one would mind taking me for a quick drive if you are going out this weekend.

Regards

Peter

Hello Peter , Welcome to the Forum.

Pete , Where do you live and are you thinking new or "previously owned " ? There are several Ribcraft 5.85 owners on the Forum. Most have nothing but praise other than the wait for a new one..
Our " La Bamba" is in Cornwall at the moment , on the Thames cruise 12 & 13th July and Pembrokeshire the first week of August if you don't get a better offer.

Peter

I own a Ribcraft 585.

See www.yellowrib.co.uk for some of what my Boat has been upto.

Excellent boats, I have pushed this boat and it has performed just great.

I have a Suzuki 140 four stroke on the back and the boat is capable of in excess of 40knots (when the sea is right)

Can't offer you a trip this weekend but hope to be out on the water the end of next week in Exmouth / Torquay area if you are in that area.
