Rib x 640 and E tec150

tested the above Boat and engine in Southampton today,,(from poole boating centre) really helpful guys there!!boat seemed to be fitted out ok but very obvious its a volume Boat,, standard of finish is low, fixtures and fitting were just adequate,,i now know why there arent that many around !! bloody expensive nearly 30k
i have only tried the e Tec once before and that Broke down, just as this one did, 10 mins into a sea trial, it just stopped,, no explanation,, the owner of Rib X was there, didnt even look embarassed,, seemed to be a common occurance!!
Tried a 90 last year, did the same !! are these engines so advanced that if the wind changes direction they stop?? and noboday knows why! apart from that it sounded nice!!
anyway a big thank you to all that have responded, and have decided that really the best engine all round is A Optimax 115 so am on the hunt for one around £5000 approx, as i know they are out there!!anybody know of any??
