Needn't be glass, could be two SS rails running from bow to stern incorporating the profile for the bow locker along to bow jockey, through to console onto helm jockey, then onto passenger jockey incorporating fuel cage etc and then onto transom strengthening the whole structure bow to stern.
Yep there has, only a mini rib and as pointed out above it takes up a shed load of space and does look a bit jetski like

A Redbay 650 all moulded deck does the same job. One piece anchor locker, deck, console and twin incorporated jockeys and transom liner/boxes stiffen the rib.
