RIB Transporting

This may be a stupid question, but does anyone think that transporting a RIB on the roof of a van is a good idea.
My scenario, have a company van which I'm not allowed to fit a towbar to and currently have a SIB but was considering upgrading to a 3 meter RIB without a console obviously.
Just wondered if this was realistic, sensible, safe and I suppose manageable due to the weight.
Thanks

If it's light enough to heft up onto the roof of a van, get a car and a trailer.
