Brad,

do you remember where you got /what type of vinyl (type /weight etc) the grey stuff in first pic is (and would you use it again?)

Contemplating doing the retrim myself...been a while since I made that beanbag for me mam in school, but can't be that hard...

I, errr, 'outsource' the fabric finishing, using a reliable local upholsterer, who shapes the foam and covers the plywood bases with a vinyl material which he supplies. Sorry, I don't know the spec, but I can confirm that it's actually black, despite the fibs told by the photo.
Can't say yet whether I'd use it again, as I only collected the seat last weekend and there's a fair bit to do before the new console gets fitted to the RIB.
