Jason,

Could you please give ME some independent advice, I am buying a 6.1mtr Cuddy and have a 11mth old baby. If you don't want to put it on here you can PM me, I want to know that I have done all that I could possibly do safety wise, by learning from others mistakes. Please share with me some bad examples that I can prevent, all info will be useful, and thanks for answering my request.

Cheers,

Pete

I only went to the pub!!!

Blimey I posted what I thought would be a good subject for debate and B****r me World War 3 has broken out while I took a bit of time out at the pub.

With the UN having rather a lot on at present could a temporary cease fire be daclared and normal service resumed?

I did think the subject would create a bit of a stir but had no idea I would cause a rift on the forum.

In fairness aside from the children debate which could perhaps be the subject of a seperate thread there were some very helpful comments and has given me further food for thought.

By the way has anybody got any views on whether women should really be allowed on boats? whow only kidding!!!!!

Cheers

Clive

Err, yes, that happened, and the whole thread got deleted! too hot!! And the humorous one about elderly people on boats (Hope my comments didn't offend anyone - I thought that in "Cocoon" the elderly people got eternal life or rejuvenation or something when they went off on the boat?)

Clive,

Thanks for your kind PM, if you want to discuss more please e-mail me, I don't want any more toys being thrown about on this thread, it is a bad reflection on such a superb site. It is a shame that you have to discuss your views in private, but that is what it has come to in relation to this thread I'm afraid.

Pete
