I wished i had the money to buy one, and the money to buy a house in a locatioin toi use it.... then i could just buy a BIG RIB and dry stack it lol

There was one kicking about in France this year, what a palaver!! It took him 20 minutes to get it on the trailer, you need at least 2 boat lengths of space behind the trailer to line the thing up, then he got the boat stuck. The wheels are hydraulically driven by a separate engine driven power pack under the rear bench seat. The exhaust for the power pack exits over the transom, consequently if you run the power pack with the outboard tilted, the outboard cowl melts

willk's 2nd Law states that "There is a fixed amount of Unhappiness in the Annual Cycle of Boat Ownership" Effectively one can move it around a bit but you pay the price at some point.
Today it's my Indespension trailer causing the unhappiness. It's suffering from stress fractures in the mudguard brackets and the swing beam retaining pins (3 of 4 broken). That said - the brakes and bearings are in A1 condition after two seasons so only replacing the back seals as one had blown out. Bearing Buddies - used carefully and often 
Hopefully some happy due tomorrow!

This is similar to Sue's law (Mrs PD) that states:-"The number of non-working items on a boat is constant & always greater than zero" i.e when you get one thing working, something else fails. It's not possible to have everything working at the same time. The affect of Sues Law can be mitigated by carrying a piece of irrelevant, non-working kit as a sacrificial item.

I think you'll find that this is not mitigating the effect, rather through confirmational bias you stop looking for other defects. Actually there is still something somewhere else broken!

If I had or could afford the right water front property then they are great, nice little runabout parked outside your property just hop in start-up drive down to the water and off you go!
Come back drive out up beach or slip set it down all without getting your feet wet!
See a few but not on a roller trailer all have been on a flatbed one.

Thought I'd done ok this year with the trailer ! Got to the south of France and the spare wheel bracket snapped above the welds and the other side was on its way 😳😳😳 so that's another job

Always fancied having one, but I seem to remember reading a couple of years back that it cost 2.5 times what my Osprey did for pretty much the same size boat!

expensive but excellent bits of kit ,the right property may not be allowed a pontoon , just drive over the front lawn into the water and off you go .According to a guy called Nick Barsch (ex phantom racer) good sea worthy boat as well .

Having seen one in the flesh, I think that's the only situation I'd consider buying one. I.e parked on the lawn & drive into the sea. If you need to put it on a trailer it defeats the object. Having seen a trailered one & the faffing about required to get it on & off the trailer I'd rather have a conventional boat.

we have tubed a few of these and never had a problem taking off or putting on a trailer and driving into the factory .The whole point of them is that you very rarely need to put on a trailer unless taking to an engineers or moving location by road
