Quite right, Sir Phil. There has been an incident involving a famous persons boat this week. I saw it all with my own eyes. Unfortunately my lips are sealed.

What is wrong with a 150hp on that!?

I`ve just sold a 5.5 with a 150 Optimax. Went like a rocket on flat water but had enough power for driving though waves! 52.4 knotts, a nice set up.

Needed toe straps and no-fear to use it!

That said I saw a tiny little hard boat under Tower Bridge the other week. It cannot have been more than 5m with a 225hp Mariner and four adults squeezed into it.

I saw the engine coming towards me first with this plastic bit attached to it!

That looks like a Humber Assault and if you put 150hp on the back of one of those and opened it up in anything but flat calm then you have nerves of steel as well as kidneys like rocks!

Yeah I know what you mean,

Very soft this lot! At the Plymouth Ribnet meet up they refused to go out of the Sound and went up the River Yealm. We went to Fowey! Nice F4-5 with a 1-2m swell.

Soft!

Chris
