I had to dig into the side of my hill and move 600 ton of slate,

welsh crushed slate. 70.00 +vat at the local merchants. 600 ton x 70.00 + vat. bet the guys digging it out will be having a good christmas.

What a waste of a good door - do you mean she actually looks at your garage? My other arf doesn't even know we have a garage.

not that type of slate! digger and driver 500 per day, 2 wagons @35.00 per hour each. 2 days to complete!

What the hell kind of digger was it?!! A 50 tonne swing shovel?! A wheel digger with driver should be no more than 30 an hour.
