Re

Unfortunately we can't adopt you at the moment as the dog would get jealous 😀😀😀,my lad has worked his socks off working most weekends and 2 nights a week to save up for a new toy and I'm hoping he gets as much use out of it as he has his current inflatable.
I'm not sure if £3000 is a decent price but he has sold his current set up for what he paid for it 18 months ago (£1700) and was just curious if the price sounded about right.

New prices approx
Engine around 2200
Boat around 2100
Console and steering maybe 4-500
Trailer 500ish?
So in the region of £5500 total cost new so saving 2.5k ish.it doesn't seem far away a bit of negotiation might get you 2 or 300 off the price then I'd say your on a winner but even at the 3k I think it's ok

£3000 is a good price for that setup. With the 15 hp you can expect about 20Knots and it will easily get on the plane with 2 people. I have a 15hp on a 3.4 m and I am certain I weigh more than your son and mine goes very well indeed. That is a very nice little set up

No Problem. Here is a pic of mine in action as you can see I suspect I weigh more than your son

And Ken's prices might be optimistic - ex Display one with no trailer (but 20HP rather than 15) is advertised at £6720 on ribeye site.

You did very well indeed. I assume with a small boat like that you can 'take a view' on the 10 knot limit on windermere
