Ouch. Sounds like it was rigged by the bloke who did my rib! I had the same problem, nothing sealed to the console. Not from the current dealers I hasten to add.

Interesting point about the leaks. I arrived at Redbay Boats once to find them outside training a fire hose on an 11m that was bound for Saint Helena (as a fire tender). Initially I assumed that they were just getting into the spirit of the moment but it was explained that they did this to all the cabin boats - i.e. give them a bl##dy good soaking to test for leaks around hatches, windows, fittings, etc.
