Rib cover

As a new RIB owner, can I ask members if they can direct me to supplier of an overall light weight summer cover as my RIB is on a pontoon mooring during the summer months.

I have a 5.5 Humber Atlantis and I require the cover to protect the tubes from UV degradation. I'm not worried about keeping rain water out as I have an electric bilge pump to deal with this . It is important that that the cover is easy to fit and stow when the RIB is in use.

Ive recently been looking for a RIB cover.

After a few calls and quotes I found Mark at Seaswan to be very helpfull, knowlegeable and also competitive.

Sounds like you want a cover made of Weathermax80. Lightweight compared to acrylic and PVC material, it's very UV resistant too.
Although you are not too fussed over being watertight it is very waterproof and even breathable so condensation is minimal.
Bit dearer than other fabrics but much better.

The URL's given are all custom made and will cost you £500 plus.... search on ebay for cheaper ones like you described...Ducksback do them as well and planning to buy one from them next year as a summer cover when it in the drystack
