RIB caught stealing

As reported in Lymington Times yesterday:

On Saturday afternoon several people from Oxfordshire were caught red-handed trying to steal a large quantity of the Solent. A large, luxurious motor yacht, believed to be a “Pussey Cat”, was spotted dipping in and out of the river at Lymington and illegally filling their copious hulls with our water. Fortunately several members of an exclusive boating club were on hand to stop the robbers and forced them to return our valuable commodity by pulling out the boat bungs. Senior club member “Maximum Girth” brought matters in hand by confiscating the van keys from the robbers and generally bringing issues under control. The sensibilities were nearly destroyed however when one club member shouted “Water Slide!” and tried to wake board down the slipway on his feet. Matters descended even further when another club member (allegedly known as Matt) shouted “shower” and then threatened to re-launch his particular vessel and jump the waterfall.
Police are looking into this incident in view of the extraordinary amount of water that has been seen in Oxfordshire recently - they will try to establish if there is any link.

As reported in the Oxford Times yesterday:

Attempts to bring the fun of the Solent closer to land locked Oxfordshire yesterday were thwarted by a bunch of inflatable boat enthusiasts.

Sadly, as a result global warming will continue as fuel hungry towing transits will have to be used to bring giant cats to the seaside, instead of the seaside to the cat

Can't have been. If he had been, he would have seen RIBs with cabins, berths, heads, swim platforms, tables and sunloungers before now, which he patently hasn't
