I love an anorak !
Its a Bell 412.

Nifty flying so close to the cliffs, and probably around £800 an hour.
Dont know where it came from - France? but probably could have done the lift for £3 - 4K. Makes sense when the other option may have been scrapping.

Whilst (kind of) on the subject - does anyone know of a helo company with a heavy lift capacity of around 5,000 kg? Otherwise it looks like we might have to ask the Army if they fancy some 'training' in the mountains...

it is 2 bladed I stand corrected ...
just saw a clip of it staionary on the beach before lifting off.
