Very sad that 2 young inexperienced people lost their lives, a friend of mine was bounced out of his Avon D560 the first time he used it when making a sharp turn, he laughs about it now but at the time it was serious. Accidents like that happen in a flash and we shouldn't ever think that it couldn't happen to us?

But to keep it a rare event it is our combined duty to ensure those who go afloat are educated and understand the hazards. Mainly the ones you can't see or don't remind your self of often enough.
Navigation is one point we need to think about. What else (New thread starting in 2 mins.) I know I need to check my fuel lines for wear ...
