Charity RIB Goes to Auction!
This RIB could be yours on the 21st September if you are the highest bidder!
The ‘RIB 4 Macmillan’ is a military spec Avon Searider SR 5.4 that was built out of nothing but donated parts and the work of great people and it debuts at the PSP Southampton Boat Show 2014. She will be auctioned off on eBay whilst being on display at the Show on Stand A080. 100% of the sale price will be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support.
A group of volunteers including some of the top names from the RIB industry have pitched in and helped to restore the boat to exceed its former glory. However, we mustn’t forget all the amazing individuals who have donated their valuable time and spare parts to make this build possible.
This project is being headed up by Alex Hutchings who says, “the support we have gained through this has been overwhelming and this project is a credit to everyone involved.”
