I buy those from ASAP supplies as I've had trouble with others and they are correctly approved for use as Nav lights.

They are about £20 each and available in long or short - same wattage and lumen output just suits different fittings. I add this info incase others are interested not because I want any kudos for donating a few £££'a worth / others have donated far more.

We will have the RIB 4 Macmillan - finished for you to see and believe me it's worth coming along to see the tube fabric alone.

The RIB 4 Macmillan build team will be there to talk to you and answer any questions on anything Rib related, Christopher from Henshaws will be there to chat to you about the tubes.

Our massive 5m RIB 4 Macmillan Banner will be there which tells this story well, this is a great talking point and helps explain how we did it.

There is a free Pig Roast that has been donated by PeterM, IanM, Neil Harvey and Jumpin Jack, but please put what ever you think in our RIB 4 Macmillan donation bucket .

There will be a 6m x 6m marquee with our old parts in that you can see and buy if you want them? or if you have anything that you want to donate just bring it along and we'll sell it for you on the day or later on the forum/ebay. 100% of any money collected will go to Macmillan Cancer Support.

Skippermarky will be running rib rides with 25% of the takings going to Macmillan Cancer Support so you don't even have to bring your Rib to see the Solent. Thats right you can have a 30min 600hp rib ride for just £20 with £5 of this going to Macmillan. These RIB rides will be located near the slipway.

The RIB 4 Macmillan Launch will be at 2pm, after this we will be packing up at around 2:30pm.

The England V Wales Rugby is on from 3pm in the pub on the big screen.
I will be coming. Is there space for me to come by rib?

Hi all,

To Pre-empt Whispers call. Unless the weather forcast is for a freak heatwave on the 9th March, I should be able to provide plenty of pontoon mooring (free of charge) to RIBnet members who wish to attend the launch party by boat.

Regards

Steve
