Now that the tube is taking shape and we begin to fit to the hull, (and remember that there will be 5 lengths of black rubbing strake added as well) I am starting to think if there should be just a hint of a contrasting colour introduced. What do people think? I myself was thinking along the lines of maybe a one inch wide pin stripe in maybe red along the length just above top strake.
I can already here you Alex saying what's he up to!!!
Just thinking out of the box and might just add to what I think is going to be a good looking boat!!

How does that fit with restoring to original? Can't see many Navy boats with a red stripe...?
