Got this today for the boat, don't worry ed he doesn't need his name on the banner ,but he is specialist small craft ltd, his name is Mark, really new company for rib stuff, wear patches keel protection etc, needs a credit, tough to start in this game from scratch

I've made the trailer step out of 5mm aluminium chequer plate. Should I leave it ally or spray it black?
It'll have two black anti-slip pads on it too. As per the good old days of 'grip tape' and 'fly tape' if there's any other ageing, ex-skateboarders out there!
