Spoke to Biff today he's tied up first thing and I don't want to leave early and sit on M25 so be down for 11 ish, leave when its done.
I'll go and negotiate a cracking deal for a new battery tomorrow (its on me) from local supplier. The project is just too smart now for a "good used battery" that I originally offered!!!

We had one of them but it finally died and rusted away about 20 yrs ago. 135 is still a daily workhorse. Many others came and went. Modern crap.
Beat of luck today, hospitals are horrible. Got some fairly horrible things happening our end too. Have to keep going.

Without question while Biff has put everything into this - without Fiona being so understanidng of a load of us pitching up in her kitchen drinking tea things would have gone much slower ! Hope all is OK .
Have this mornig had this little beauty turn up in the post - Black with a grey stripe to match the tubes - very very cool ...

edit - its on my desk at the mo - but I'm working on being able to be over at the boat tomorrow ( the weekend for sure )

Big thanks to Steve & Ian at UK Battery Sales in sandwich, kent. 01304 619000 who think the charity RIB project is an excellent one and donated a brand new 100Ah marine battery today... Now in my van on its way to Hampshire!
Their numax leisure / marine range have 3 yr warranty and as well as good deep cycle ability have very high CCA for starting use.
