just s thought - would these donations not better going to a PayPal account to buy Engine or bits that you can't get donated - since I believe this money goes straight to McMillan ?

It's a good question but I was rather hoping that we could do all this without money changing hands, I mean not one penny? It will just mean so much more...

I believe we are in hard times but there are so many good people out there and I don't think that anyone would ever forget a donation of an engine or a trailer, I mean you just can't buy publicity like this.

Fingers crossed though..... I guess we will have to wait and see

Good names here

Just a quick update from me, my phone got soaked again at the weekend even though it was in a waterproof case so it's not working I should be up and running again in a couple of days! Sorry if you have tried to call me.

Lots more updates to follow later tonight packed with more great news!

It's my fault thinking that a waterproof phone case would actually work

Great news! We have had a £10 donation and £2.50 gift aid from Lakeland Terrier with a message to say:

"Donation to the cause instead of snapping up a collectable Needles-Cherbourg Rib-Raider T-shirt which I would feel I'd not earned the right to wear"

Dude, you were there in spirit, if you don't want a T-shirt at lease accept this banana on me you can wear it wherever you want

Total
£250.00
Gift Aid
£62.50

Grand Total = £312.50

How much is a decent 2nd hand 90hp 2s long shaft ? I guess its too large a value item for anyone to donate one, so lateral thinking is needed. Maybe people could donate smaller items, those be sold / auctioned and the proceeds go into the "engine for penny" fund.
