Whilst we were at Biffer's on Saturday we checked the account. Many, many thanks to everyone who contributed. Without your generosity the project would have had problems. There is still over 350 in the account but with a couple of items still to be purchased it has been decided that the balance will be transferred to the JustGiving account at the launch party.

Thank you to the following - Big hugs all round!!

Yep, the support you lot gave us was absolutely fantastic especially when all you could see were the pics of the boat in bits, well done you lot

Out of your donations into Biffers account that was set especially for this project we were able to buy the donor boat which provided the engine and trailer and also the other bits where we weren't able to get them donated.

Having said that, if we didn't have it, we would do our best to make it and it was only as a last resort that we had to spend any money at all, for example the paint for the engine was professionally mixed for us and it was the 2 pack type too so much more durable. Biffer also upgraded the tanks as the internals on Barrus tanks are not great long term so he redesigned them

Thanks to Neal Harvey for loaning the project the money to buy the donor boat and thanks again to all you who supported us, we repaid the loan within record time...

What can I say, Ribnet at it's best

As promised these are the account totals so far...

Total donations into Biffer's RIB 4 Macmillan project account = 2,746.54

Payments out of the account:

Repay the loan to Neal Harvey = 2250

Parts bought:

Paint
Tank converters
Trunk
Tank connectors
SS dome nuts
SS pad eyes

Parts total = 129.18

Which leaves us with 367.36

We haven't paid this into just Giving yet as I need to look at a donation of insurance, while Biffer is looking for the last part which is the washer for the prop. I know Peter M has already donated this money for the washer but just incase we can get one we'll hold off buying it

Got loads of pics for you lot coming soon to show what she looks like now close up

Thanks again, great achievement

More great news

We have had a 25 JustGiving donation with 6.24 Gift Aid from Ribsta (Lee) with a message to say:

"Absolutely inspiring project. The best SR I've seen. Can't wait to see it on the 9th. Well done to all involved".

Dude, thanks so much for your donation and kind words we can't wait to see everyone on the 9th...

I wonder if anyone will turn up dressed as a dancing banana

JustGiving totals so far:

Total raised
647.00
Gift Aid
156.75

Grand Total = 803.75

If we've forgot anyone can you sing out now please, it did come in from all over the place and from third party sources, like the deal with the flares, one sent them over and another paid but the credit should go to the supplier not the donator, so you see it is difficult, ish
