Looks like Yarmouth lifeboat was called- cant find anything else yet

Also not a good day for powerboats inland http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...er-Thames.html

can not find any facts on IOW incident.
You else was out today on Western Solent today? As again some events I saw dont change, rough/choppy seas caused by hundreds of boats and still RIBs out without the basics being worn,

Yup Ian, it was shocking to see the number of ribs out there today with helms not having kill cords. The cords just hanging down from the switch.

Truly amazing!

Awful events of The Needles last night and we are unsure of any facts yet. One hopes that this type of tragedy would focus minds, but alas no. I beleive from seeing you at Forts to Bembridge it was actually worse at The Needles in relation to this type of activity.

After it calmed down and everyone left I spoke with a J class chase RIB and they said they had seen nothing like the madness we saw this week anywhere else. The marshal boats had no chance.

No one on here?

Awful report in Sunday Times of someone's son falling off a RIb and being hit by the prop on Friday near the Needles. Hope no one on here! So sad.
