Replacement internal fuel tank

The stainless internal fuel tank on my Ribcraft has died and I'm looking to replace it. Until I have the old tank out and have measured up more carefully I'm not sure what will fit the space, but meanwhile I have seen these polyethylene tanks by Osculati (Italian) which look potentially promising...

Here's the link: https://www.seascrew.com/browse.cfm?...K&p=0000008483

I've read previous posts on fuel tank replacement and seen the various debates / recommendations on stainless / ali and plastic.. seems like a lot of reasoning behind many of the points presented.

Has anyone used these Osculati crosslinked polyethylene tanks (designed for petrol) before?
Are they any good.

I presume the new fuel tank irrespective of material should be bedded in foam when installed. Is there a particular make / type of foam to be used for this purpose? If its a plastic tank how should it be grounded / earthed if at all?

Cheers in advance for the advice

Cheers Gents

I've used Jay Wolfe (shop4tanks) before for other things but their range of plastic tanks doesn't include any suitably sized V shaped ones like the specific one in my link above.

My question is really does anyone else use a cross linked polyethyene tank for underdeck petrol and any issues?
