Doesn't that stuff just plug in?

By technical, I mean in terms of wiring, GRP, rigging etc?

OI! not a huge amount i suppose, but give me a manual or the know how, and i'll follow it to the line. I can think logially. Done repairs to boats before. worked a little with grp, carbon fiber, fiberglass....

His video shows Ficht. Although it is the "Ram" version which I think means it is "fixed ficht" rather the "f*cked" ?

why? IMHO you are paying a premium simply because it is a camel trophy rib. The hull is fine, in fact the ribtec hull is well thought of - but I've heard a lot of negative comments about the longevity of the fittings (note the "roof rack" is gone on this one). They were built for the race - not to last a lifetime. You can probably spend less / get a better boat.

many of the dials dont work, speedo, rev counter, etc... now, this i blame on a bad previous owner. literally has no idea of boat maintenance, and as much as i want it, its too much for the asking price, going on the fact its in such disrepair. so, i want to understand something. How easy is it to get these things to work again? electrics, etc...
depends! As biffer says it could be dodgy loom so its not that difficult to rewire it (in fact it could be a single dodgy earth or +12 V killing everything?) - but I've seen a couple of old neglected ribs where water has got into the dials and if they do need replacing I'd budget 50 per dial (more if they are fancy multifunction things).

I note there is some sort of large fancy plotter on the console, not sure how smart the engine is - but it might just be new enough ? to be able to link to the plotter and display RPM etc?

I'm guessing its this one: B&O at 12,500 I guess the question I'd be asking is why is it any better than this B&O with Honda at 10.995 but probably working electrics. or this one B&O still with "Roof rack" - in need of a general tidy up at 11,995 or for example this Ribtec at over 3000 less, with a better reputation engine,
