Well I made it out. Left home and drove the 30 seconds to the slip in drizzle. Popped the rib in. Rain stopped and the sun even shone for about 2 minutes.

Had a good hour of fun, then the heavens opened and i mean opened. It poured and poured. I just popped my hood up and carried on. It was fine with the rain behind me, but heading into was slightly painful on the face.

Recovered when the visbility started to drop quite quickly and the mist rolled in. Still i wasnt the only nutter, two more ribs were out, a speed boat and a jet skier.

The forecast for us tommorrow is much better but i'm off to attempt golf with the brother in law, whilst the better halves treat themselves to a spa day. Havent played for years, but i was swayed by the full english we get after the first 9 followed by several beverages

Monsoon season

Don't know about you chaps but I never known weather like this.
I've been keeping an eye on the UK weather 10 day forecast as I've signed up for 8 days marshalling in the Solent starting on the 17th.
There was a pretty good forecast this morning, with loads of sunshine, so I left it on the screen all day to cheer me up. At about 5 pm, I refreshed the page and to my horror the sunshine predictions had all been replaced with clouds and showers. I tried to reload the previous page but alas, it was in vain. I guess it's more of the same...
