I agree with you Des - I prefere a nice jockey seat my self!

However, my passengers will prefer a bench seat to a tube I think.

I would go with jockey seats if I had more space, but I don't

Heres what I'm doing:

I have a one man jockey console just like yours with the exception that my console is moved about 2 feet forward. I am then going to get an igloo (US product) cooler that doubles as a seat. You can even buy a cushion to strap to it. I am going to add fuel tank tie downs to the rear floor so this cooler can be strapped down. Now its just a question of making it jockey style seat or a bench seat minus the backrest. I think the jockey setup would work well for one passenger while the bench layout could hold 2. But I think the jockey would provide more stability for the 2nd whilst the bench wouldn't be that stable for the 2.

Thats a good idea. You can actually get a proper kit for fixing it down. I belive Dan TD5 has such a device on his RIB....

yes i am the food truck for the sum 5m club i have a ice chest 48 made by igloo fitted to my boat

the price is as follows

ice chest marine 48 is 49.00 +VAT
cushion marine 48 is 73.00 +vat
ice chest tie down kit 26.00 + VAT
