Recruiting for experienced RIB people for Kent MVS...

Specifically we are looking for a couple of people with a good local knowledge, one based in Sittingbourne/Faversham and one based in the Whitstable/Herne Bay area to head up recruiting and fund raising there, our head-of-unit is based in Margate/Birchington and I have Sandwich/Deal.

We now have several sponsors, not least of which is Shepherd Neame who have donated a brand new and shiny 5.3m boat which will be dry stored in Manston. TDC have promised us a headquarters, which should be available early next year and we are already working with them as well as KCC and the usual line up of emergency services.

Other sponsors are Standard Horizon, Baltic Safety and local supermarkets.

We have two other full members and a couple of auxillaries from other areas, as well as a charity committee to look after the accounts.

If you feel up to the job and can offer training to encourage more members - please give me a shout.
