Agree with Simon B as mentioned earlier I have some of these

Great grip, and great protection to dry suit / ankles/socks

Thanks a LOT guys, 'rock boots' it is!

Will take a look at various different designs over the coming days.

The typhoon ones seem to tickle my fancy the most as they go a little higher up the ankle than the rest. Might get the Typhoon ones with the neoprene... does anyone know if the neoprene goes the whole way through the boot (so essentially a bootie inside the boot itself) and should I go a size bigger than my normal foot?

Thanks Paul, but when I last got a quote from Andark it was over the 100 mark and I could pick up a new one for less than 200 so seems an uneconomic repair.

I used my single and two piece floatation suits last Winter, but did miss using my drysuit.

Getting wetsuit boots (or rock boots) on over a drysuit is a nightmare, but Gill do a pair of lycra socks for about 6 that you put on over the drysuit sock and it helps no end!

I've been using Fairy Washing Liquid in the meantime - makes the task so much easier, my feet just slip right into the booties!

Good service from Mikes Diving

I recently purchased the typhoon rock boots from Mikes Diving. There was a mix up with the order and the wrong boots were sent to me. I sent an E-mail to Mikes Diving to inform him of the problem.

He said for me to keep the boots that he had sent in error and that the proper boots would be dispatched to-day.

I like to recommend good service when I get it. All to often all we hear about is sh*te service. This is the link to Mikes Diving

Regards

Leslie
