Rear View Mirror

Anybody got a rear view mirror on their RIB.

In particular looking for one to fit on the S/S surround for my windscreen.

Any ideas appreciated.

I'll probably go for another halfords one with suction mount - cheap, reasonably secure and easy to pull off and put away when not needed

Is a rear view mirror that useable, what with the hectic movement of the boat?

Why does it have to be for a boat? I am sure a car door mirror will do just as well. Or something off a LandRover or Sherpa van or similar.

.....Here in the States. I'm off right now. They also do a range on Bilge pumps at very cheap prices

The clamp on type I found virtually identical to this one did not fit onto your Stainlees steel bar around the screen, found as you screwed in the clamp it kept popping off of the bar, and the gap inbetween the screen and rail was too tight to be able to clamp it to the screen.

Thanks for that bit of info. I had seen the clip on type somewhere before. Saves me buying something that won't fit.

Ended up buying a £4.99 jobby from Halfords and sticking it on my windscreen. Does the job well and actually stays on. One tip tho, set it and don't try and adjust it in the rough. Don't work.
