Re tubing

Hi I have a 6.5 metre ribtec with blue hypalon tubes. It's been well used both tubes are beginning to show major signs of wear and 3 out of 5 valves now leak so badly she has to be inflated everyday. Also just had to re stick most of the rubbing streak this year so I've decided it's time to have the tubes replaced. Any recommendations and advice on costs would be much appreciated.
Regards Matt

Henshaws (Christopher on the forum) real nice guy probably the most widely respected in the business & easy to deal with might not be cheapest but will be competitive & you get what you pay for

Re tubing

I would try venture marine in Salisbury. Just had a set of tubes done by them and they are outstanding, the attention to detail beats any tubes I have had before, they really know their stuff and their attention to detail is superior. I would highly advise a chat. Good on price too.

Cost

Venture Marine were cheaper than henshaws and I've had tubes form both.

Happier currently with Venture Marine. Cheaper and imo better quality, aftersales and customer service.

Also had a very good quote from venture. They do pascoe ribs for info. I've had tubes from henshaw before also.

Before you buy, think about warranty returns and the location of your fitter. Tubes do go wrong and dragging a boat to where ever is not as easy as returning a pair of shoes.

Other Solent ish tube companies include
Ribshop
Rodella ribs (used to do some Scorpion)

Other West Country tubers include
Ed ribraff, rib repair (very good prices)
Paul Tilley (well thought of on here)

RIBase
I can recommend Henshaws and also Ribshop.

I got quotes from both and in the end went for Henshaw tubes fitted by Ribshop. This was cheaper than going direct to Henshaw and saved me trailering up to their works.

Cost was a bit less than £4k although I can't remember if that included VAT
