re-tube cost

Anyone know a ballpark figure for re-tubing a 6.5m Ribtech. I've e-mailed a few companies but haven't get any replies

Tue, timing isn't good, suspect all the firms are working flat out at the moment, a nice cold Nov or Dec might be better. Think you are looking at 2.5-3k though.

Since most of them are down your way, might be worth a trip to see them.

Are they for your rebuild project & are you going to fit them?
I think you are looking at about £2500!

yes for my Ribtech. I think fitting tubes is a bit beyond me. I'll put a patch on no problem but don't want to be responsible for the bit that makes a RIB a RIB

Tubes

Tue
I have just had my Ribtec professionlaly cleaned by Scott at www.ribrepair.com. He does a great job of repairs and seem reasonable.
His workshop is near you.

They're ok now I've cleaned 'em up a bit but I thought since I've got a new floor I may aswell get new tubes to finish the look. Plus over a couple of weeks they tend to go down, I think its the valves but can't get 'em out without cutting into the tubes.
