For the benefit of Ribnet members here are the same questions as on Boatmad:

UIM Championship?

What are the classes? Is one the same as Rib Sport Professional?

It can't seriously be the 15th or every month?

Any help with travel?

Thanks,

To my knowledge it didn't happen this year.

It doesn't appear to be UIM sanctioned so it isn't a World Championship

The UK has been dropped from the series

Five week long events is in my opinion totally unrealistic but what do I know!

that's right! Cookee

The races never happen, you can see in the U.I.M. calendar, that the race in Greece - Athens (11 - 16 May 2008) is still on ... not even an announcement of the cancellation...

http://www.uimpowerboating.com/vsite...v-list,00.html

after the link look for Offshore - Offshore International Ordinary.

Its very difficult in just 30 days between the races... even for National events.
